Wrapstar

Bill Lee's auto wrap shop was running entirely on Instagram. Now it has a website that generates and receives enquiries directly.

  • Discipline Website
  • Duration Client project
  • Budget band Paid work
  • Wix
  • Lead capture
  • Technical SEO

The problem

Wrapstar had essentially no online presence beyond an Instagram account.

Social accounts are good at showing work and bad at almost everything else. You do not own the account, you do not control who sees a post, and there is nowhere for someone ready to buy to go. Enquiries arrive as direct messages mixed in with everything else, and get missed.

Anyone searching for the service rather than browsing the app would not find them at all.

What I did

Built them a website they own, structured so it can be found by people searching for the work rather than only by people already following.

The important part was the enquiry path. The site captures leads directly, so an interested customer has an obvious way to make contact that lands somewhere deliberate instead of in a social inbox.

Instagram still does what it is good at, which is showing the work. The site does the part it was never built for.

Outcome

They can generate and receive leads directly from their own website now, on a property they own rather than rent from a platform.

For a business whose whole presence sat inside one app, that is the difference between hoping to be discovered and being findable.
