Wix Help and Consulting

Two years inside Wix. Ask anything.

An hour with someone who worked at Wix and at GoDaddy, on your screen, answering the questions support is not allowed to. Bring the site, the bill, or the sales call you are not sure about.

  • Rate $95 an hour
  • Typical timeline Usually booked within a week
  • Scope Fixed, in writing, before work starts

$95 an hour, billed in 15 minute blocks after the first hour. No retainer and no minimum past that first hour.

Good fit

You have a Wix or WordPress site and a specific problem: a layout that breaks on phones, a plan you suspect you are overpaying for, a domain you cannot work out how to move, or a decision about whether to rebuild.

Better options

You would rather I did the work than explained it. A build or a care plan both cost less per hour.

What You Get

An hour on a call with the screen shared, working on your actual site. You can drive while I talk you through it, or I can drive while you watch. Either way you keep written notes afterwards, because nobody remembers a call three weeks later.

Two years at GoDaddy and two at Wix means I have sat on the other side of this conversation thousands of times. I know what support can and cannot do for you, which settings matter, and which of the things you are worried about are not actually problems.

What People Ask

The most common question by a distance is about the bill. Somebody is on a plan they were sold, at a price that jumped at renewal, with apps attached they have never opened. Working out what you actually need takes about twenty minutes and usually pays for the call several times over.

After that it is search: why the site does not come up, what can be fixed on the page today, and what is going to take months no matter who you hire. Then mobile layout, domains and DNS, and forms that never arrive.

The Honest Part

Sometimes the answer is that your site is fine and you should stop worrying about it. Sometimes it is that the platform is wrong for what you are trying to do and no amount of tuning will fix that. I would rather tell you either of those in an hour than sell you a rebuild you did not need.

If it turns out you do want the work done rather than explained, we can scope it on the same call, and you will have a written price before you commit to anything.

How To Book

Send a note describing the problem and what you are seeing. If it is something I can answer in two lines by email, I will just answer it and you will not need to pay for an hour.
