The problem

Sally was paying hundreds of dollars every month for her restaurant website. For that money it did not have an itemized menu on it.

A menu that is not real text on the page cannot be found. Nobody searching for a dish she serves was ever going to land on her site, no matter what she paid monthly.

The layout also had real problems on mobile, which is where the large majority of restaurant customers look. People check a menu on a phone, standing outside, deciding where to eat.

What I did

Put the menu on the page as actual text. Every item with its name, description, and price, structured so both customers and search engines can read it.

Fixed the mobile layout, treating the phone as the main way people see the site rather than an afterthought.

Then looked hard at what she was actually paying for each month and what that money was buying, which is a question worth asking before adding anything new.

Outcome

A menu that is searchable, readable, and correct on a phone, on a site that works where her customers actually are.

Restaurant menus are the clearest example of a fix that is mostly typing and returns more than a redesign would. The information was always there. It just was not in a form anything could read.
